Authorized Siteline designer, Carolle Spence of Starlite Kitchens, located in Byron Center, Michigan, shares a recent kitchen remodel.

“Our homeowner had been dreaming of a white contemporary kitchen for many years,” Carolle says. “Twenty years ago, she was talked out of that option and was persuaded into honey colored oak,” she adds.

BEFORE:

“As seen in the before pictures, the honey oak kitchen did not hold up to a busy family,” Carolle comments.

AFTER:

By eliminating the desk, the design allowed for more cabinetry, and a small coffee station. The glass cabinets above the peninsula were removed, giving the kitchen a more open feel to the dining room area. The white appliances look seamless next to the white slab cabinets.

Last year, the homeowner chose Starlite Kitchens and Siteline Cabinetry to create the kitchen of her dreams. She was sold on the cabinetry value, door style and finish.

The kitchen features the Siteline Amici door style, in Porcelain, which is a high gloss Acrylic finish. Acrylic is extremely scratchproof, and will hold up for this busy family for many years to come.
